Online Classes
Online classes are another great option for learning about effective marketing strategies. When looking for an online class you want to first make sure that the host company is reputable and that the presenter has a valid background in marketing and/or business. You also want to make sure the price being charged is reasonable for what you are getting in return. Generally it is better to pay more for a great online class hosted by a reputable company, than it is to pay less for a shoddy online class taught by a no-name presenter.
Local University Classes
If you are worried about the validity and value of online marketing classes, then you can forego the Internet for a traditional university course. Many community colleges, universities and adult learning centers offer marketing classes. These classes can last a single day, a weekend, or several weeks. The cost of these courses tend to me a little more than online classes, but you will have the added advantage of being able to take part in classroom discussions and ask your teacher questions in real time.
