A Technology Revolution

My career has been in Sales and printing since I graduated College in 1989. When I started my career in printing, sales marketing was not complex. In fact, it was exactly what I studied in school and in the books I read on sales. The books I studied were written anywhere from 5 to 50 years prior to me reading them and yet everything in those books had basically remained the same.
The Fluidity of Modern Marketing
Currently, nothing remains the same regarding marketing. Marketing is now a mix of past traditional marketing methods blended with new technology and concepts that seem to be so liquid they change monthly and include a never ending list of new acronyms.
- You may allow everyone in your organization or just specific individuals to login and order business cards. Then, if you desire, you have the option to appoint an administrator to oversee the entire process.
- The system is completely customizable to fit your specific needs and internal controls.
- If you choose to appoint an administrator, they will receive email notifications for all new orders. The administrator may then approve, deny, or change any necessary information.
Our History and Where the Future is Heading
The Industrial Revolution between 1820 and 1870 drastically changed the United States. It increased growth in the US and brought Americans into a Modern, urban-industrial state. We are living through a technology revolution right now that will make the industrial revolution pale in comparison and seem like a relatively small chapter in US history.
The technology revolution is not just changing the US; it's impacting the entire world. In the late 1990s when I made the move from owning a local printing company to creating an Internet business card sales and Software Development company, I never would have believed anyone who predicted how much the world would change over the next 10 years.
Building an Online Resource for Our Customers
In CCA's Marketing Library, my goal is to publish short, very easy to read and understand summaries of current concepts on marketing during this fast changing technology revolution. I will attempt to be sure to spell out all the acronyms, not merely attempt to impress you with them. My goal is to take new marketing concepts and explain them in Plain English. I will add the new acronyms, concepts, theories, Ideas, and new marketing avenues as I see them or get suggestions from others writing about them and list them as links on the right side of this page.
This is a daunting goal given the fluidity of marketing today. If you would like to assist me in adding to this library or offer suggestions where current write-ups might be improved, please feel free to submit an article, 700 words or less, that is easy to read and understand. Any acronyms need to be spelled out and explained thoroughly. Assume the reader is starting their journey into this new technology revolution with your summary. Submit your article here.
