About Tina

Hi, my name is Tina. I am originally from a small southern German town but have been living in the San Francisco Bay area for almost 10 years now. I have done many things in my life, I was a scientist, a journalist, then a student (again) and finally in management of bio tech companies. My real passion lies with photography and I have been pursuing that passion for about 5 years now and selling microstock on the side for about 3 years. The advice relatively "new" photographers often hear is "pick a field of specialty and focus." I have never heeded that advice - there is just too much out there to photograph to only focus on one thing! If I had to pick one topic it would be people, but fortunately I don't have to pick! Most important to me is to catch an authentic moment, expression, or sentiment. Unless I do still-lifes, I hardly ever pose people or things but rather try and catch a moment in time.

Please feel free to visit my stock galleries at iStockPhoto, Dreamstime, and fotolia. If you see an image there that you would like to use for your next business card or in another media format, please contact me.

Marketing Made Easy

Professionally designed business cards make marketing easy. If you are looking for a relatively low cost advertising method, then business cards are for you. You control who the cards go out to and you control how many you want to give out at a time. In this way, you know that your cards go to only the people who will use them. While your competition's marketing materials may be looked at and then thrown away; your professionally designed, attractive business cards will be kept. Make sure that your cards are at the fingertips of all of your potential customers.

Personal Cards that Aren't for Business

Not every career needs a business card, but some people like to have a card for personal introductions. So-called calling cards were the norm years ago - and have been around since the 16th century - but they are making a comeback. Your card can include your name, phone number, e-mail, and Web site. It makes it easier for friends and new acquaintances to stay in touch - no more writing information on a scrap of paper that will get tossed.
