Taina Sohlman is a prolific Photographer whose commercial and editorial photos have been published by NASA, the European Union and other prestigious organizations worldwide. She is also a contributor to fourteen stock Photography agencies.

Taina is from Helsinki, Finland, but enjoys a talent in photography and culture honed around the World. She holds a Master of Arts Degree in Cultural History from Turku, Finland and has studied Classical Archaeology, Philosophy, and Art History. She also has a certificate in Interior Design from St. Petersburg Junior College in Clearwater, Florida. She uses her background in Oil Painting, history and culture to full effect in her photography, allowing her art to be influenced by Finland's natural Beauty.

Passionate about her photography, Taina tries to continuously add new elements and subjects to her portfolio. She considers her goal to always be seeing, discovering and learning from the things around her. One of her primary focuses is capturing the beautiful details in plants, lichens and mosses, details that can be difficult to see or even invisible to the unaided eye.
