Paul Soderholm

Paul Soderholm is long-term Illustrator from Finland. He was born in Hanko, and now lives with his wife in Turku on the Southwest coast of Finland. He currently works as an illustrator and graphic Artist for Abo Underrattelser, the oldest Newspaper in Finland, and he also runs a freelance graphic design and illustration business which creates custom comics and cartoon illustrations.

Paul finds that the best workflow for creating his Art is starting with the manual tools of paper, pencils and a Steel nib pen for inking. He scans his illustrations and retouches them digitally in Photoshop before retracing them by hand in Xara Designer Pro to convert them to vector drawings.

Paul's work in comic art and illustrations is now sold internationally through microstock and illustration-sourcing websites.
