Tool and Die Makers

Tool and die makers are the first professionals that can be classified as a machinist. Their primary responsibility is to make tools, dies and molds for others to use. When designing your Tool and Die Maker business card, you will want to make sure that you select a background graphic that makes sense for your job. For example, if you primarily make tools then you will want to select a graphic that includes one or more tools. In addition to a great machinist themed graphic, you will want to include your name, job title, union affiliation, company information and contact information.

Mold Makers

Mold Makers are responsible for the creating molds that are used to mass produce a variety of items. They can create injection molds or form molds. If you are a Mold Maker then you too will want to use a machinist themed business card design template, however, when you browse through our image library, you will want to look for a graphic that either depicts the types of items produced by your molds or a graphic that features a mold.

Patternmakers

As the job title suggests, Patternmakers make patterns. However, unlike Patternmakers in the clothing industry who use paper, machinists use metal for their patterns. If you are a Patternmaker then your business card will need to use a graphic that shows what you do. You can select a drafting themed graphic or a machinist themed graphic. Drill Operators

While many machinists work with cutting tools, there are also several jobs in this field that operate drills to shape metal and wood. If you are a drill operator then your business card will need to include a graphic of a drill. You can either select one of our drill themed graphics or you can upload your own line art graphic or photograph.
