About Luke Orsborne and His Art
Luke Orsborne received his BA in studio art from the College of William and Mary. Over the years his style has moved toward abstraction. Born in Harrisonburg, VA, he now resides in Colorado.
He enjoys creating visual realities that cannot be seen in the everyday world, but must instead be experienced in the realm of art. The images that he creates are an invitation to explore a world of pure color and form, preceding language and definition. His paintings communicate a dynamism that readily translates into distinctive designs for business cards and promotional materials.
Each painting that Luke creates is a process of improvisation with color. It is this moment by moment response to environmental and inspirational forces that keep his paintings fresh and energetic.
