About Joseph

Joseph graduated from New York Institute, moved to Ottawa, the capital of Canada, where he began his photographic career doing freelance work which included photojournalism, sales, retouching, and private photographic tutoring. While living in Ottawa, Joseph managed a Pro Photo Store and also freelanced with a modeling agency shooting headshots for the Juno winning movie "Threshold", starring Donald Sutherland and Jeff Goldblum. Joseph was also given the part of a foreign photographer in the film. You cannot miss him at the end of the movie when Mare Winningham left the hospital. He is the press photographer in front of everyone with the black windjammer hippy hairdo and Rolleiflex SLX.

After that he travelled across Canada and worked in studio photography, as a darkroom technician, and freelance photography. In the mid 90's Joseph quit photography to concentrate on music. He did this until late 2000 when he decided to come back to do a bit of photography, doing Fashion Shows on spec and modeling portfolios. Now Joseph has moved farther eastward to live in the Maritimes, and was introduced to microstock and contributes to Dreamstime, StockXpert, BigStockPhoto, Alamy, Cutcaster, and most recently Fotlia. He does not have a large portfolio as my time in microstock is quite limited due to my day work as a Freelance Photographer and ESL Consultant.
