About JC Lee

JC Lee is a photographer from California who enjoys seeing the world through her lens and being able to capture moments in time that are so precious they put a smile on her face. JC has been interested in photography since her college years when she used a manual SLR camera, but at the time she felt that her photos weren't very good and she was intimidated by array of manual settings. Years later she took up photography again, first as a hobby, then began taking photography classes to raise her art to the next level.

JC has been a professional photographer for many years and began selling her work through online stock photography agencies in 2007. Far from being intimidated by camera settings anymore, JC shoots with both digital cameras as well as traditional film SLRs, and even medium format film on some occasions. She enjoys following her heart through her camera and using natural light to create the perfect photo, often waiting hours or even days for the light to be just right for her work.

The work JC does focuses a great deal on macro and landscape photography, but what gives her the most satisfaction is capturing people in the perfect moment, especially children who express their innocence and sense of fun unabashedly while they're young. She loves how photography captures emotions and precious moments that are impossible to convey through words.
