Fritz Hiersche

Born in Vienna, Austria and now living in Reisenberg, a tiny village in Lower Austria, Fritz Hiersche has worked in different companies as a Financial Manager, and first began exploring the field of Photography as a hobby.

Desiring to monetize his love of photography, Fritz began selling his photos to newspapers and other publications in 1980 and expanded the scope of his work by traveling to different countries throughout Europe in search of new and unique images. He specialized in Travel, Nature, fauna and flora, people and event photography.

Over the last decade, Fritz has begun to add additional World travel to his portfolio with destinations like Australia, Tibet, Bhutan, Bangladesh and additional countries in Europe. His work has been energized by the Internet, which enables him to work with photography agencies worldwide, including Austria, Germany, Italy, Canada and the United States of America. It has also spurred his creativity even further and inspired him to explore new areas and themes of photography.

Fritz's photography has appeared in school books, album covers, Calendars, advertisements and travel brochures.
