About Claudiu

Claudiu is 21 years old and is from the city of Pitesti, Romania. He currently lives in Bucharest, Romania while attending the National University of Theatrical Art and Cinematography (Universitatea Nationala de Arta Teatrala si Cinematografica/UNATC Bucuresti www.unatc.ro). There he is studying at the Film College in the Multimedia Section with a focus on things like Film Editing, Sound Recording/Design, Computer Graphics and other related stuff. He is currently in his third year, one year to go to and he'll have his Film Editor's Degree.

Claudiu first started taking up photography about 6 years ago, at the approximate age of 15 when his older sister bought a wonderful toy called a digital camera. Since then he has learned a lot. In 2009, he started venturing into stock photography.

Claudiu has been hooked on vector illustration for the past two years ago when introduced to it during an Illustrator class at school. As you can see, a large portion of his portfolio (or at least the successful part of it) consists of vectors. He also gets a lot of help making vectors from his wonderful fiancee, who is an aspiring architect.

He has designed business cards before, but primarily for friends/relatives or friends of friends, but enjoys creating them. According to Claudiu, "I think a good business card is very important for anyone serious about his/her work, as it can influence people and give an idea about how serious you are about your business. I think a good business card is one that someone will keep even if they don't like you."
