About Cindy
My dad was a photographer when I was in high school and I have always admired his work. However, life got in the way with raising my family which prevented me from pursuing photography at that time. As my kids grew older, I had more free time and as the digital age of photography emerged...that was it, I was hooked!
I am a mom (soon to be grandma) that is hopelessly addicted to photography. What started out as a hobby quickly escalated from there. I became addicted to digital photography about 10 years ago. I became involved with stock photography about 3 years ago when a very good photographer friend (Mike Shake) introduced me to it. I enjoy stock photography very much; it has given me a source of income that has helped me progress with my equipment and my dreams. Stock photography has urged me to become creative and inspired, along with some of the comments I have received from total strangers, urging me to move forward and start selling my work. I have sold prints at several studios and was recently chosen to be in a juried county wide art show; just being chosen for the show was a huge accomplishment for me!
Moments In Time Photography
I have always wanted to have my own business and recently opened up my own studio, Moments In Time Photography, found at http://moments-in-time-photography.net. I enjoy shooting landscapes and portraitures the most. I also shoot macros, still life and basically anything that gets in the way of my lens!
I am also a full time nurse and work a schedule that has allowed me to be able to focus on my photography for which I am grateful. I have taken several Photoshop courses and I am currently a student with The New York Institute of Photography. It is so exciting to be able to develop my pictures without the use of chemicals; Photoshop has quickly become my second addiction. I shoot with a Rebel 300D and recently purchased the Canon 30D.
