About Anna
Anna started working as a freelancer halfway the nineties. At first she mainly typed and edited manuscripts and scientific publications. Soon she added copywriting and photography (a passion since childhood) to her list of freelance specialties. Gradually Anna broadened her horizons with desktop publishing, graphic design, and web design. At the moment Anna prefers to work with the Adobe suite (InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop, and Dreamweaver).
Halfway through 2009 Anna discovered microstock photography. After searching through several forums, she became more and more eager to give it a try. At the end of September she finally took the plunge: exchanged her bridge camera for a D300, put a 20 year old 50 mm lens on it, and left for Italy to spend a couple of weeks exploring. Back home she processed some of her photos, applied to several microstock agencies, and was accepted in no time.
Progress is slow, but working for microstock gave and gives a boost to both her photography and Photoshop skills. She's still learning every day and definitely enjoying it!
