About Amanda

I have been drawing since childhood and got into graphic and web design in 2000. While looking for a way to combine my old hobby with the digital medium, I started experimenting with vector illustration in my spare time. I quickly realized it was what I wanted to do as a full time career here in Southwest Florida. I started out doing freelance illustration and licensing images through an online microstock agency in 2004. I was able to translate illustrating into a full time business two years later. Today I offer a portfolio of over 500 images for royalty free licensing, as well as custom character illustrations, logo design, and stationary design.

Amanda's Favorite Tools and Subject Matter

My primary tools are Adobe Illustrator, CorelDraw and my trusty Wacom tablet. I try to keep my illustrations light and fun in a clean vector look that appeals to a wide audience. Subject areas I concentrate on are business, maternity, bridal, shopping & club themes. Some of my favorite artists and influences include Kirsten Ulve and Josh Agle.
