About Alice

Alice has been involved in photography and digital art for many years. She used to be in management for a retail store for over 10 years and has worked in retail since the age of 16. Tired and burned out, it was time for her to switch careers. After talking with her husband about this decision, he gave her 100% support to go after her goals. She loves being a housewife, working part time at her old job, creating digital art, and pursuing photography.

Alice believes that it is important to know what type of photographer you are, but at the same time remain willing to learn new aspects and techniques. For example, she knows that landscapes are not her strongest point - but close ups, shadow and light expression, and detail are her strongest. She loves band photography and location photography. Using a studio is nice at times, but does not give you as much freedom and flexibility as location photography.

Alice recently began working as a sports photographer for Hernando Today which is the county section of the Tampa Tribune. She loves being around kids and capturing them during their loss or victory in a game. Action and Expression.
