Thomas hails from Brooklyn, NY. He was born there and still loves living there. He has completed his Bachelor's degree at Brooklyn College and will be attending law school in the fall of 2007.

Here is what Thomas had to say when asked about the subject matter of his photography:
"I thoroughly enjoy taking and working with photographs. Everyday there are countless instances where a photograph could capture more than any words could describe. I try my best to capture those moments. Brooklyn N.Y. is a wonderful city! At times it is negatively stereotyped with images of violence and ignorance. Many of my pictures are taken in Brooklyn and attempt to show the beauty that it hides (if my camera isn't stolen first...just kidding).
Macro photography is my preference when taking pictures. I enjoy macro photography because it exposes an amazing miniature world where everyday objects appear as never before. It gives the viewer a greater appreciation of the world around them and the subtleties that are concealed."
What type of equipment does Thomas use to capture his images? We asked Thomas about his equipment and here's what he said: "I own a Nikon F Series 35mm camera, a Nikon CoolPix 8700, and a Canon Digital Rebel XT. My lenses include a 15mm f/2.8 DG Fisheye, a 60mm F/2.8 DG Macro Lens, and a Sigma 70-300mm f/4-5.6 APO DG/ Macro. Some accessories I use include an Electronic Flash Macro EM 140 DG, a polarizing filter, and various tripods. My photography knowledge spans a wide range of aspects including film handling and development. I'm comfortable handling 35mm film cameras, point and shoot digital cameras, advanced digital cameras, and SLR digital cameras. I enjoy advanced dark room procedures as well. I use Adobe Photoshop, ACDSee, NoiseNinja photography programs too."
