About Michael Bretherton
Michael Bretherton, based "Down-Under" in Australia, has been using photography as an important element in his graphic design work for the last two decades.
Hiring photographers or searching photographic libraries to source outstanding images is vital to most of my design projects. Over the past few years I've been developing my own photography skills. Being able to use some of my own images in my designs is extremely satisfying.

My subjects of interest range from objects, often collectable pieces that make great photographic studies, to urban and natural textures along with whatever else may catch my eye. If something appeals to me, be it a stunning flower, an old peeling and weathered door or a beautiful texture in the sand on one of Australia's gorgeous beaches, I'll try and capture it.
I've also been working with light - photographing "drawing with light". These abstract images are both eye-catching and intriguing. Many of these have been included in my collection here.
