About Marco
I was born and lived for 20 years in Piacenza, Italy. I have traveled, studied, and worked in Sweden, Germany, Spain, US and Portugal. At the moment I'm based in Bogota, Colombia. I work as a freelance photographer and journalist, collaborating with magazines and stock agencies in different countries.
I also shoot on assignment and I'm trying to be more active in photojournalism. I only shoot in the digital format and my favorite cameras are always Canon, as I travel a lot and I try to keep my equipment as light as possible. Mainly I shoot travel, nature, fine art, and food. Since my background from my university training is in Physics, I'm also very interested in computer generated images such as fractals.
Along with photography, my passions are biking, traveling, food, and learning languages. I have several portfolios available online. I have a fine art gallery,a Royalty Free gallery,and a photo blog.
