About Liz
I've always been the most content when involved in creative endeavors. Having tried many creative outlets throughout my life, nothing has been quite as satisfying as photography.
It incorporates the visual stimulation I crave, along with instant gratification, thanks to digital technology.

My primary focus for the last 2 years has been stock photography. The opportunity to submit my work to stock agencies and enjoy a nice supplemental income has been instrumental in planting firm roots in photography for me. Currently,
I am shooting with a Canon Digital Rebel XT and some basic lenses. Although I have a full set of studio strobes, I rarely use them. Recently I have been experimenting with minimal and natural lighting to photograph my subject matter.
I enjoy building and shooting still life themes. If I had to pick a favorite genre, it would probably be still life/food. I take pleasure in taking ordinary things and blending them together into something worth shooting. Sometimes just one small object is enough to spark the creative process for me. Before I know it, I have a whole table full of objects to shoot! I also enjoy nature, landscape and portrait photography. Nothing is quite as satisfying to me as capturing the essence of a person through the lens of my camera. The digital darkroom is also fascinating for me. I am continually learning the never-ending possibilities of Photoshop.
