About Donna
I am a single mom...what could be rougher?
To be a photographer requires dedication, a love of art, commitment, a form of armadillo skin and guts, all of which I possess. I would have to say the life of a photographer is full of rejection, never ending criticisms, one day highs and 6 day lows. Photography will also make you to want to throw your hands up and ask, "is it worth it?" while fully knowing in the end that reason and logic go out the window as you grab your faithful companion in hopes of getting that next great photo.
Photography is an ongoing passion that I have enjoyed since childhood. Unfortunately, at times other things take precedence in one's life, and some things just have to wait. Slowly, I have started getting back to my passion; it is my advocation, which I hope one day soon to make it my vocation. I am aiming for the "stars, birds, sky, sea" whatever takes me closer to where I want to be, and gives me the incentive to never stop growing.
I want to leave my "personal" mark, something other than just being categorized as a great mom (which is not a bad thing). What a better way to set an example for your children than by doing it and showing them that it is never too late to accomplish your dreams!
