About Dez Pain's Photography
My interest grew when I discovered the Internet, and image manipulation. I took an image manipulation course online and I was hooked. As a result of this, my interest in photography grew and I began to offer images on stock photography sites. My images have been used on CD covers, in books, magazines, greeting cards, calendars and in interior decoration.
I love color and I really like to experiment with image editing. I love producing images that are pleasing to the eye. I prefer to create images that lift the spirits rather than challenge them. I think life has too many challenges for some people and we need to surround ourselves with that which is positive. Nevertheless, I do appreciate clever art that grabs the interest of the viewer.
I love to look at spectacular photography and I really love lots of color. I just work on a photo until I feel happy with the result. Sometimes I have no result in mind, and I just experiment. At other times I aim for something specific, but it doesn't always work. I have always loved flowers. Someone once called them "God's smiles" and that appealed to me. I really enjoy photographing flowers in interesting light.
I currently use a Panasonic Lumix for my photography because I love the image stabilizer.
