About Cheryl Kunde
I've been taking pictures for a long time. My husband and I retired and decided to move to Georgia 4 years ago to be closer to my daughter, son-in-law and two grandsons. It was just recently that I decided to try making a little money with them. I love snapping images of just about anything, but animals and nature seems to be what I capture the most. Recently, I've started doing illustrations and drawings in vector format too. My cameras are Canon, a 6MP 300D and a 10 MP 400D which was just recently purchased. I'm still in the process of gathering a variety of lenses for both of them. I use Photoshop CS2 as well as Adobe Illustrator 12.1 and Xara.

My main site is: http://sherryk.1colony.com/. I'm still in the process of building it, so at the moment it only has some images from a recent trail ride. I've had the privilege of doing some events for a therapeutic riding program here in Georgia as well as some other private photo shoots.
Cheryl's Favorite Subject Matter
What is my favorite subject matter? Well, that would have to be animals, specifically horses and cats! I used to train horses and was a riding instructor. I have two Quarter Horses, a mother and daughter. The mom just turned 32 years old in March; that's quite old for a horse! But, she still acts and looks like a young filly. As for the cats; they seem to know where to get a good meal, so I end up with a lot of them. We also have one very old dog, and several birds that are regulars around the ranch along with a number of other critters that know we'll take care of them!
I've also just started taking golf lessons as there are so many beautiful courses here in Georgia. I'm the only one in my whole family that hasn't played, so at 60 years old, I'm looking forward to the challenge!
