About Burcu
I was born in Turkey. I started as a junior graphic designer in 1996, started my own advertising company and worked with the Turkish government for several years on many different projects.
I then moved to London and work there as a graphic designer for a local newspaper for 3 years. Finally in 2006, I moved to Canada, fell in love, married and settled down. I'm a freelance designer and photographer at the moment, taking jobs primarily from my website
Burcu's Photography
My photographs are exhibited in several galleries throughout Turkey, London and Edmonton, Alberta, Canada. My illustration works are used in magazines, billboards, and brochures. Apart from that I design websites and do freelance desktop publishing.
My photography is mostly focused on illustrations, people, celebrations and events. I use Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop CS2. I use a Nikon D80 and a Fuji S602 Zoom for my photography work.
I update my work regularly and shoot stock photography part time. I have several online portfolios that can be accessed from the main page of my personal website, Mujka Illustration.
